GASKET AND PAINT STRIPPER

APPLICATIONS: Bardahl Gasket and Paint Stripper is a highly active remover of old gaskets and carbon deposits from all types of engines (cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, etc.). It is also developed for quick cleaning, effectively removing paint, varnish, lacquer, and industrial finishes from wood, metal, GRP, ceramics, and many other surfaces. It removes most cellulose, acrylic, vinyl paints, etc. PROPERTIES: Bardahl Gasket and Paint Stripper works by separating the bond between the gasket and the surface. Bardahl Gasket and Paint Stripper achieves this through capillary action; it slides under the film causing abrasion and weakening. It will not remove polyurethane or double pack epoxy. Due to its viscous nature, the product adheres to surfaces (even vertical ones) without slipping. Bardahl Gasket and Paint Stripper is a blend of highly active paint-removing solvents, cellulose thickening agents, and sealing wax. When sprayed, it provides a viscous liquid of milky color that dries quickly, forming a layer on the surface. This helps to prevent the loss of effective solvents to maximize its removing effects: - The product adheres to surfaces for better application. - It is economical and reduces the need for multiple applications.
