How to replace the exhaust manifold step by step

The exhaust manifold is exposed to very demanding working conditions due to its location. This is why problems often arise with screws and bolts. If you handle this in a dirty and improper manner, the cylinder heads can be damaged. A very cheap repair then very often turns into a complete failure.

Furthermore, exhaust manifold removal depends largely on the model and its design. Other components, such as the EGR cooler or turbocharger, must be removed in the same way as the front catalytic converter. This increases both the expense and the risk of further damage, making it more sensible and useful to have the replacement carried out at a specialized workshop. Especially since the costs are kept within reasonable limits. Performing the replacement yourself could, in the worst case scenario, damage so many components that a repair would no longer be worthwhile.
