The F/C's external air system was designed in 1998 to provide constant flow or air on demand to the driver in the event of a fire. The compound bottle will hold 5-10 minutes of air, depending on the flow setting. System includes flow control regulator, ball valve, 8 ft. fire-resistant hose, hose and bottle fittings rated 3000 PSI (114 cu. in.), and shutoff valve assembly.
