The objective of the entire exhaust system is to eliminate residual gases burned in the combustion chamber, since this will affect the performance of the engine. It is simply a matter of maximizing the speed and efficiency of gas removal. These sections connect the primary sections (manifolds and catalysts) with the final section (rear exhaust). This standard one aims to begin to reduce the sound of the gases for their expulsion. If, on the other hand, the objective is to increase performance and improve sound, these intermediate silencers can be reduced and/or eliminated for certain competitions.
